The blog has been a little neglected lately as I've been working out all of the details for this summer's Teachers' Writing Academy. It's going to be an amazing week!

And for the history buffs, Independence, Missouri is the hometown of Harry S Truman and the jumping off spot for the Santa Fe, California, and Oregon Trails. There are lots of great historic sites to visit!
